Best Screenplay: Killing for a Living – Praised for its witty and engaging narrative, Killing for a Living took home the Best Screenplay award, impressing audiences with its clever writing and sharp humour.
Best Comedy Actor: Neil Bratchpiece for The Sharkey – Neil Bratchpiece delivered an outstanding performance in The Sharkey, earning him the Best Comedy Actor award for his memorable and laugh-out-loud portrayal.
Best Short Film: The Vagina Exorcist – Taking home the festival’s top honour, The Vagina Exorcist was recognized as the Best Short Film, applauded for its bold direction and original comedic premise.
Best Student Short: The Canterbury Job – As the winner of Best Student Short, The Canterbury Job stood out for its fresh and imaginative take on the genre, showcasing the talents of tomorrow's filmmakers.
Best Comedy Screenplay: The Sandwich Artist – This quirky and amusing screenplay earned The Sandwich Artist the award for Best Comedy Screenplay, noted for its humour and unique characters.
